Having renovated and added onto my own home on three separate occasions, I had a clear vision for the space planning objectives:  beautiful views, a big island for family entertaining,   a re-worked scandinavian antique table,  and large open spaces with display space for collections of memorable family pieces.  Comfort and functionality, combined with lots of room for design fantasies, motivated my planning process.
